Publications, Inc., now offers a search service for information on Winchester
ammunition products. Data on hand covers the New Haven Arms Company
through the 1970's. The time period most thoroughly covered is from 1873
to 1956, when commercial ammunition production ceased at New Haven.
Military origin, rimfire and centerfire; as well as those
cartridges that were made and cataloged and those that were tested are included
in information available. Single memos, catalog pages and cartridge drawings;
copies of original factory work and those of Eugene Scranton are available.

will be fielded from a simple e-mail answer to a complete file search. Examples of
files on hand range from a minimal i.e.; 380 MkIIZ = 3 pages of information, to
a maximum i.e.; 30 G. 1906 or 30-'06 = 300 plus pages, 35 plus drawings.
With the latter, a specific request must be made for commercial or military
contract and any other subject matter to narrow the scope of the request.
